The foundation for growth was set in 1961 when Oskar Diener assumed sole ownership. Since then, strategic investments in CNC machining, automation, and clean room technology have expanded our capabilities—positioning DPM as a world-class manufacturer of precision components.

Diener & Rau was established in Zurich, Switzerland, laying the foundation for a future in precision machining and engineering excellence.

1960

The company moved to Embrach to accommodate growth and expand production capabilities, marking a key step in its development.

1961

Founded as Oskar Diener AG after separating from Rau, marking the start of a lasting legacy in Swiss precision engineering and innovation.

1980

A large CNC hall was built to boost production capacity and support advanced, high-precision machining technologies.

1987

Diener broadened its expertise by entering the pump component market, further diversifying its precision manufacturing portfolio.

1993

Diener expanded its capabilities to serve the medical technology sector, bringing precision and reliability to life-saving applications.

1994

Became the first certified supplier to ISO 9000 standards, demonstrating a strong commitment to quality management and international compliance.

2000

To reflect its international growth and focus, the company adopted the name Diener AG Precision Machining, reinforcing its global presence.

Installed a state-of-the-art clean room certified to ISO Class 7 standards, enhancing production quality in controlled environments.
